How TNT Was Built
Five decades of hard work, the right equipment, and a phone that always gets answered.
The First Truck
J. Petri founded TNT Towing with a one-ton Ford bought with a blown motor, working out of rented space at the Pacific 66 service station. One truck, one phone, and a promise to show up.
Room To Grow
Demand outpaced that first bay. TNT moved into a 5,000 sq ft location and expanded the fleet to four 1-tons and one single-axle 5-ton — the beginning of a real operation.
Going Heavy
TNT purchased 3 acres with a 7,000 sq ft building and added tandem wreckers and a tractor-trailer unit, taking on the heaviest jobs on the road. Ken Cannady joined the team to help drive it forward.
